Day 2-3: Triton Bay

Triton Bay offers even more marine diversity as Raja Ampat in a more remote location. So liveaboard may be the best choice to dive there. Dive sites include Saruenus Island, Bo’s Rainbow, Batu Jatuh, etc. You can expect Baribanti pygmy seahorse, schools of fishes, black coral and so on. The same as Cendrawasih Bay, the whale sharks here will be attracted by the lights of fishing boats at night, so it’s a great place to spot whale sharks.

Dive sites:Bo’s Rainbow, Batu Jatuh, Bagans

Day 4: Momon

After an overnight sailing, we arrive at Momon Island, midway of the route. Just like Jurassic Park, there is a roaring waterfall cascading down into the sea. Momon is also a fishy diving site where there is allegedly the largest number of Trevally in the entire Raja Ampat region.

Day 5: Pisang

Arriving at Pisang also takes an overnight voyage. Like Momon, Pisang is also a dive site that is only reachable via liveaboard. In addition to a large number of fish schools commonly found in the first-class diving sites of the Raja Ampat, Pisang is also a famous macro diving site. Meanwhile you can often see oceanic manta passing by, although no cleaning station has been found yet.

Day 6-8: Misool

After continuous sailing, we finally arrived at the Misool area, where you could play cards or jump into the sea at night. Misool is the southernmost archipelago of the Raja Ampat Islands  and is home to many of the world’s top dive sites. In Two-and-a-half days, you can spend about 10dives diving the best sites in the entire region. Among them, Magic Mountain, well protected by Misool Eco Resort in ocean sanctuaries, is one of the best where there is a dome-shaped seamount with a finger-shaped rocky outcrop densely covered with gorgonian fans and soft corals. You can witness enormous schools of fusiliers, surgeonfish and batfish circled by dogtooth tunas, giant trevallies, grey reef, and whitetip reef sharks. On top of these incredible encounters, a cleaning station for oceanic and reef mantas can make this dive one of your best ever. Unlike many other cleaning stations generally located in sandy areas, here is boundless blue water with soft corals and colorful fish, which is very suitable for photography. Boo Windows is a diving site best known for the “windows” or rounded openings on the end of the largest rock that is draped in soft corals and brimming with fish.

Dive sites: Magic Mountain, Boo Windows, Yuliet and Romeo, Fiabecet, Wayilbatan, Daram Area, Pele and Sagof/Wagmab/Farondi Areas

Day 9: PENEMU, FAM

The two islands of PENEMU and FAM are located in the southwest of the Dampier Strait and are one of the most beautiful areas in the North Raja Ampat. Among them, Melissa’s Garden is home to some of the best hard coral gardens in Raja Ampat. If the sun is shining, in the shallow water area of 10 meters deep, you can wander in a large sea of invincible soft corals and feel the unparalleled beauty of nature.

Dive sites: Melissa’s Garden, Keruo Channel, My Reef

Day 10: Dampier strait

Located in the remote far east of the Indonesian archipelago, Dampier Strait offers some of the best diving in Raja Ampat, with its dense hard coral reefs and large fish schools that characterize the area. A large number of diving B&Bs are mainly concentrated in this area. Blue Magic is the best dive site in this area. You might encounter large marine creatures such as Oceanic Manta, schools of fishes such as Barracuda, jack fish, reef shark and rare fishes such as Wobbegong and walking sharks.

Dive sites: Miskon, Blue Magic, Cape Ri, Mikes Point
